Music

Jazz South West a group of Somerset, Bristol and Bath based musicians who play regularly together in a number of different jazz line-ups. We supply music for parties, corporate events, weddings, civil partnerships, restaurants, social clubs and jazz venues.

Ceramics

Black Dog of Wells, a unique range of relief tiles in natural terracotta which are full of detail and texture. The tiles are designed by Philippa Threlfall. They are collected by many people and make excellent presents.

Mary-Jane Evans, works with porcelain and ceramics. Mary's main theme is the transformation of materials which echo the metaphorical forces, substance and history within the Dorset landscape.

Sculpture & Carving

Kate Semple combines carving stone, with other architectural materials in her sculptures, producing abstracted, witty and somewhat surreal work.

Anthony Griffiths is a professional sculptor, commercial woodcarver and a qualified teacher. Based in Walton, Street, Somerset - Old School Carving also run courses in wood carving and clay portrait sculpture.

Beads & Jewellery

Mixed Up Dolly, One-of-a-kind handmade customised jewellery and accessories inspired by food and confectionery. Many pieces have a retro feel taken from Mixed Up Dolly’s own favourite tastes.

Jules Beads , Imported glass and silver beads from India, handmade jewellery and bead workshops.

Painting, Prints, Mixed Media & Design

Alex Sherman, designing modern original Celtic images and motifs. Alex is one of the most prominent Celtic artists in the UK and has a new book out 1st October 2007.

Hand Made Soap & Beauty Products

Jane Madden Hand Made Soaps , Maker of fine goats milk soaps, wrapped by hand in the most beautiful printed cotton fabrics, Somerset, England.

Theatre & Entertainment

The Little Theatre, For over a Century Wells Operatic Society have been entertaining audiences both young and old, with our 'professional' (amateur) stage productions. The Little Theatre hosts jazz &comedy nights.

Workshops & Courses

Shute Farm Studio, runs courses for adults, children, groups, schools and organisations in traditional arts ranging from stone carving and wood engraving to ceramics and willow work.
